Three Things You Shouldn’t Bring to the Show

Just as important as the things you need at a show are the things you DON’T want to have. Here are the top three things you need to leave behind so that you can increase productivity:

1. An Open Wallet

Plan ahead, have a budget, and stick to it. Avoid last-minute purchases, especially services ordered during the show that can blow your budget out the window!

2. The Party Hats

Beware of staffers who are tempted to spend the night on the town! Hung-over, exhausted staffers aren’t the best ambassadors for your company and certainly don’t convey the image you want to present to visitors. Leave festivities for after the show.

3. The Day planner

Time at the show should be spent working the show – not thinking about calls you need to make back home. Make a list of items that absolutely have to be taken care of during the show and schedule time to take care of them. Let the rest wait until the show is over.
