Nimlok® is a premier provider of custom, modular, and portable conference displays and exhibit solutions for face-to-face events and environments. Founded in 1970, Nimlok was established by a remarkable man named Neil Nimmo, who invented a lock-and-clip panel system that made photo backdrops more portable and easily reconfigurable … hence the name Nimlok. This invention led to the development of the very first modular display system in the marketplace!
Nimlok innovated and expanded from the United Kingdom to the United States, Canada, Italy, and Australia. In Canada, Nimlok developed long-lasting relationships directly with companies that have relied on Nimlok to design and build impactful visual displays for their events or interior environments for over 40 years.
In 2010, Nimlok merged with sister company, Orbus Visual Communications® to further expand its modular display offering and manufacturing capability. The group is headquartered just outside of Chicago and is the largest one stop shop for everything displays – from portable signs and display products to custom solutions.
There is very little that Nimlok can’t do! It’s not just about designing and building though; we help you through the entire process. We design, build, ship, install, dismantle, and even store your exhibit materials.
And most importantly, we bring your brand to life.
As a brand under the Orbus Visual Communications® umbrella, Nimlok is backed by strong and robust capability, capacity, and state-of-the-art technology. Manufacturing takes place in a 355,000 sq ft. facility in Woodridge, Illinois, as well as a 100,000 sq. ft. facility in Las Vegas, Nevada and a 56,000 sq. ft. facility in Ontario, servicing Canada.
